Gwinnett asks MARTA for feasibility study

Gwinnett is looking at the feasibility of MARTA being brought up I-85 to Gwinnett Place Mall. Right now Fulton, Dekalb, and Atlanta are the only ones paying for MARTA. Gwinnett has rejected MARTA from its inception, but changes in demographics and the political landscape have opened the door to a possibility for change. Gwinnett is also the source of some of the nations largest traffic bottlenecks and many more commuters are seeing the benefits of an alternative mode of transit with rising tempers and gas prices trying their patience.
